Phari Lapcha trek is one of the popular trekking destinations in Nepal. Phari Lapcha peak located in the Everest region at Solukhumbu region is a popular peak of the Mahalangur Himalayan range. Phari Lapcha offers you the best panoramic views of spectacular mountain ranges of Everest region including Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Baruntse, Amadablam and many other beautiful mountain ranges.


Phari Lapcha trek is an ideal experience for those trekkers and mountaineers who want to climb the mighty Himalayas of our country and desire to climb the highest mountain (above 8000m). This trek is not only an adventurous trek but this is also an opportunity to see the unique cultures and lifestyle of people living in the Everest region. The trail also includes the sightseeing of the gateway of Everest, Namche Bazar which is also considered as Thamel of Himalayan region.


Our Phari Lapcha trek starts from Kathmandu with a short flight to Lukla. We will then trek through the beautiful Phakding valley to reach Namche Bazar. Namche Bazar offers the spectacular views of snowcapped mountains including Everest. We will then trek to Khumjung valley, Dole, Machermo and finally reach to Gokyo valley. Trekking ahead and passing the Gokyo Ri leads us to the final destination of our trek, The base camp of Phari Lapcha. After sightseeing of some of the beautiful mountains we will trek to the High camp from base camp of Phari Lapcha. This point offers the best views of Himalayan ranges including Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Baruntse, Amadablam and many other beautiful mountain ranges. We will then descend via the same route to reach Namche Bazar and hike back to Lukla from where we will fly back to Kathmandu and departure.

Outline Itinerary

Day1:  Arrival to Kathmandu & Transfer to the Hotel (1,400m)
Day 2 Fly from Kathmandu – Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,800m) : Overnight Stay at Lodge
Day 3 Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) : Overnight Stay at Lodge
Day 4 Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar : Hike to Khumjung Valley
Day 5 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Dole (4,200m)
Day 6 Trek from Dole to Machhermo (4,450m).
Day 7 Trek from Machhermo to Gokyo (4,750m)
Day 8 Trek from Gokyo to Gokyo RI (5,340m) and return back to Gokyo
Day 9 Trek from Gokyo to Phari Lapcha Base Camp
Day 10 Hike from Base Camp to Phari Lapcha High Camp
Day 11 Climb North Face [ High Camp – Summit (6,017m) and descend to Base Camp]
Day 12 Trek from Machhermo to Namche Bazaar
Day 13 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla
Day 14 Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu & Transfer to the Hotel
Day 15 Leisure day in Kathmandu City
Day 16 Transfer to the Tribhuvan International Airport for final Departure
Day 17 Transfer to the Tribhuvan International Airport for final Departure

Cost Include

  • Airport / Hotel / Airport pick up & drop by private car or van. It is depend of the group.
  • Two nights standard accommodation in 2/3/4/5 star category hotel in Kathmandu located tourist center, or up to you.
  • Meals on full board (Breakfast, lunch and dinner) during the trekking
