Mt. Pumori, one of the famous 7000m trek is located near the Nepal-Tibet border in the Mahalangur range of Himalayas. This technically challenging and difficult trek requires previous climbing experience and a good physical stamina to complete the trek. This trek is designed for those trekkers who wish to trek in one of the most challenging treks of our country. Mt. Pumori trek offers the visitors a spectacular view of panoramic mountains including some of the highest mountains of the world such as Everest (Highest mountain of the world), Lhotse, Nuptse, Annapurna, Kantenga, Thermasharku, Kwangde and a close view of Mt. Amadblam.
Mt. Pumori was first climed on May 17, 1962 on a German Swiss expedition. Mt. Pumori, also known as the mountain daughter is only 8 kilometres away from the highest mountain of the world, Mt. Everest. The mountain got its name from the Sherpa language where Pumo means a young girl or daughter and Ri means mountain. One of the major attraction of this trek is the famous viewpoint Kalapatthar which lies just below the south face of Pumori. This peak is also famous for its distinctive shape.
The expedition to Mt. Pumori starts with a scenic flight to Lukla from Kathmandu which gives you a pre-opportunity to see the beautiful panorama of snowcapped mountains. We will start trekking from Lukla and reach the gateway of Everest, Namche Bazar. Namche Bazar, also known as the Thamel of Everest region is a luxurious village at the Himalayan region with a huge number of hotels, restaurants, lodges, cybercafe, ATM, etc. We will then trek to the famous Thyangboche monastery through dense rhododendron and pine forests. Trekking via Lobuche and Dingboche will eladus to the basecamp of Mt. Pumori. Trekking ahead from Pumori Advance Base Camp will lead us to the summit of Mt. Pumori from where you will be rewarded with a magnificent view of Himalayas. We will then return back to Thyangboche monastery and come down to Lukla from where we will take a chartered flight to return to Kathmandu and the we will end our incredible journey.

Day 02: Kathmandu Kathmandu valley sightseeing. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Expedition preparation day (1400m). Overnight at hotel
Day 04: Morning flight to Lukla (2800m) and Trek to Phakding (2600m). Overnight at tea house / Lodge.
Day 05: Trek to Namche Bazar (3440m). Overnight at tea house lodge.
Day 06: Acclimatization in Namche Bazar. Overnight at tea house lodge.
Day 07: Namche – Dole (4040m). Overnight at Tea house lodge.
Day 08: Dole – Machharmo (4420m). Overnight at Tea house / Lodge.
Day 09: Machharmo – Gokyo (4790m). Overnight at Tea house / Lodge.
Day 10: Explore around Gokyo (4790m). Overnight at Tea house / Lodge.
Day 11: Gokyo to Thangnak (4700m). Overnight at Tea house / lodge.
Day 12: Thangnak – Chola Pass (5368m) to Zonglha (4700m). Overnight at Tea house / Lodge.
Day 13: Zonglha to Lobuche (4910m). Overnight at tea house lodge.
Day 14: Lobuche to Ghorakshep (5190m). Overnight at Tea house / Lodge.
Day 15: Gorekshep to Pumori Base Camp (5280m). Overnight at Tented Camp.
Day 16-31: Climbing Period Mt. Pumori.
Day 32: Pumori Base Camp to Lobuche (4910m). Overnight at tea house lodge.
Day 33: Lobuche High Camp to Tengboche (3870m). Overnight at Tea house / Lodge.
Day 34: Tengboche to Namche Bazaar (3440m). Overnight at Tea house / Lodge.
Day 35: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2800 m). Overnight at tea house lodge.
Day 36: Fly to Kathmandu (1400m). Overnight at hotel.
Day 37: Free day in Kathmandu (1400m). Overnight at hotel.
